Futures Fund
Small Business Loan Program
(A U.S. Department of Agriculture)

Green River Futures established the Futures Fund on April 1, 2005. The program is a small business direct loan program managed by Futures. The program is open to all businesses either located within the City of Green River or those that plan to operate within the City.

The program is divided into two funds. The Business Loan Program offers loans of up to $15,000. One full-time job that pays a minimum of 1.5 times the minimum wage must be created for every $5,000 borrowed. The program cannot finance more than 75 percent of total project needs and the borrower must invest a minimum of 10 percent of the total project cost with cash. The Micro Loan Program offers loans up to $3,000 with no job creation requirement. The borrower must still invest at least 10 percent of the project cost as cash.

Please carefully review the Futures Fund Guidelines for details.
