Wyoming has NO corporate or personal income tax, inventory tax, inheritance tax and a low property tax. Green River is ideally located 2 hours east of Salt Lake City on Interstate 80 and less than 5 hours from Denver with excellent transportation resources. Green River Futures provides a one-stop approach to researching and assembling tailored assistance packages, incentives, and financial assistance.

Green River Futures key assistance to creating primary jobs includes:

  • Promoting Green River to potential relocation or expansion prospects.
  • Fielding inquiries from potential relocation or expansion prospects, maintaining contacts and managing projects.
  • Work closely with local government and community organizations to enhance the desirability and business climate of Green River as a location of choice.
  • Facilitate projects however possible. 

Incentives: Wyoming's primary business incentive is its low cost of doing business combined with a reliable labor force, abundant quality of life and NO personal or corporate income taxes. Incentive packages are tailored based on the specific needs of the company and may include customized work force training grants of up to $4,000/new job created, tax-exempt low interest industrial revenue bond financing for manufacturers, below market loan funds, and land and building financing participation.

Shipping: Both UPS and FEDEX have staffed customer service centers in Rock Springs Wyoming, 10 miles east of Green River. Drop off locations exist throughout Green River. FEDEX and UPS offer scheduled 5 day ground delivery to the east coast, and 1-2 days to most of the west coast. Most common carriers also serve Green River.
