Wild Horse Canyon Development, LLC
is a newly formed company that combines the development experience of Chicago based David Delach. The group has reached an agreement to purchase the
11 acre City of Green River owned, Interstate 80 located First Springs Canyon site for the development of a hotel, restaurant and conference center. The company, with assistance from Green River Futures,
is engaged in a comprehensive market feasibility study to determine the size, scale, restaurant
brand, and hotel name brand of the project with a decision by Spring 2006. The City of Green River secured a $1.5 million grant from the Wyoming Business Council to assist with the extension of utilities to the site and for the construction of a service
road. Green River was also awarded a $600,000 grant from the FY 2006
Federal Transportation, Treasury, and HUD Appropriations Bill (H.R. 3058) for infrastructure
improvements to First Springs Canyon thanks to the efforts of U.S. Senator Mike
