Mountain Fuel Industrial Park - Green River
(November 2004)

The City of Green River approved a $100,000 budget allocation to extend and increase the capacity of the water service and make road infrastructure improvements in the vicinity of the Mountain Fuel Lane Industrial area in Green River off East Teton Blvd. The infrastructure improvements will terminate at the property limits of the proposed Mountain Fuel Industrial Park being developed by local contractor Pleasant Construction. The project will address health and safety issues associated with the residential neighborhood adjacent to the proposed industrial park. It will also provide sufficient water pressure and service to accommodate the fire protection needs for the industrial park. The 8.8 acre industrial park currently houses Pleasant Construction and Champion Technologies. Approximately 5 acres remain available in the industrial park and lots will be divided and sized to meet the needs of the expanding industrial market. Road improvements and water distribution within the property will be completed by Pleasant Construction. Depending how the lots are configured, the park is ideal for industrial buildings of between 3,000 and 15,000 s.f. and are designed for light industrial users that require outside storage for equipment or vehicles. The infrastructure improvements are scheduled for completion in late 2005. Green River Futures worked closely with the City of Green River on defining the need for additional industrial zoned and improved land within the City. Futures is also working closely with the developer on recruiting industrial tenants to the park. Several potential users have already toured the property and are considering projects.
