Anytime Fitness has leased
4,000 s.f. located at 410 Uinta Drive in Green River adjacent to Ace Hardware and Warehouse Home Furnishings. The St. Paul Minnesota based company will open its Green River fitness center in February 2005. The location will be its second in Sweetwater County. Anytime Fitness opened its Rocks Springs location in the White Mountain Mall in September 2004. Anytime Fitness offers 24 hour per day access to its state-of-the-art fitness center via the secure Lockmatic system. The concept is ideal for shift workers and individuals whose schedules demand non-traditional access to fitness services. Chuck Runyon, one of the founders of Anytime Fitness, is very pleased with the initial success of the Rock Springs location and noted that many of his customers live in Green River through corporate
memberships. He has high expectations about the planned success of the Green River location. Green River Futures has been working closely with the shopping center owner, Don Johnson, on the marketing of vacant space within the center. Futures also provided technical assistance to the company during the permitting process.
