Hampton Inn & Suites - Green River

     Wild Horse Canyon Development, LLC, a new Wyoming corporation announced on October 11, 2006, that they plan to construct a 100-105 room Hampton Inn & Suites in Wild Horse Canyon on Interstate 80 in Green River, Wyoming. The partners include David Delach (847/420-7218), Rick Delisle of Lee & Associates, Chicago (847/812-8180) and John Walsh of Millennium Realty Investors, Los Angeles (310/392-1440). The project will be developed on a 2.65 acre lot the team is acquiring from the City of Green River. They are also acquiring a 1.75 acre adjacent parcel targeted to casual dining to serve the hotel. In addition, the developer has optioned another adjacent 6.32 acre site from the City for future commercial development. The City of Green River is in the process of extending infrastructure into the canyon and constructing a new road with immediate access from exit 89 from I-80 to be named Wild Horse Canyon Road. The hotel will start construct in mid-2007 with completion scheduled for the spring of 2008. Green River Futures, the City's economic development agency, has worked closely with the development team since late 2005 as the project facilitator.
