Green River Futures was established April 1, 2004 as the full-time professional economic development organization charged with strengthening the business climate in Green River,
Wyoming to identify and create resources that provide growing manufacturing, technology, service, and commercial businesses.
Futures has two primary tasks:
- PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: To work with the public and private sector to develop land and buildings suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: To establish programs that result in increased business investment and job creating activities from
existing businesses, start-up entrepreneurial efforts, and traditional recruitment and attraction.
Green River Futures works closely the county economic
development agency, SWEDA, and the Green River Chamber of Commerce.
